Coenzyme Q10 with Tocotrienols
-Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), or ubiquinone, is a true coenzyme and essential component of the mitochondria; thus critical for energy production. By this and its antioxidant activity against lipid peroxidation, adequate levels of CoQ10 support healthy cardiovascular and immune system functioning. Formulated with mixed tocotrienols which may support healthy cholesterol levels. The rice bran oil base provides for much greater bioavailability of the CoQ10.
Coenzyme Q10 with Tocotrienols includes a substantial amount of mixed tocotrienols and 100 mg of CoQ10 per softgel, in a rice bran oil base (from brown rice). CoQ10, or ubiquinone, is an essential component of the mitochondria, critical for energy production, and an important antioxidant. CoQ10 is a fat-soluble nutrient, and research indicates that oil-based CoQ10 has much greater absorption and bioavailability than the powdered form.
Tocotrienols are members of the vitamin E family and have been shown to strengthen arterial walls and support blood flow through arteries (coronary, carotid, and peripheral). Tocotrienols have been found to support the regulation of cholesterol within normal levels. Rice bran oil provides a high amount of gamma-tocotrienol and gamma-tocopherol for better absorption and utilization, enhancing the beneficial properties of this formula.
